ice warings are quite common at sea, and are just something to be aware of, for the titanic these didnt really pose any problems to her, untill she was heading into an "ice field" of which the carpathia warned her of, as they had stopped for the night because of it, titanic did get the message, but it was either forgotten about or not taken seriously by the wireless operator, and didnt get to the bridge.
the decision to keep the hit a secret was proberbly due to not to worry passengers, i would have thought most of the crew did not believe the ship was actually going to sink and therfore did not inform passengers.

Was the crew the killer of 1500 deads?
The cerw could have don better job. They show
no effert to let passagers know the Titanic
was going to sink.
So the cerw was the killer of 1500 people.

Captain Smith is to blame for the ship wreck on that cold, horrible night of April 14,1912.He didn't take the messages seriously because if he would of he wouldn't of let the 1st class passengers on the telegrams making silly messages.Instead he would of kept the lines open for emergencys only.Plus, they would of had warning before when they first spotted the iceberg.

Who's To Blame?
Have you ever wondered who was to blame for all of those people that died from ye wreck of Titanic? I have! My segestion is Captain Smith; he wasn't telling people that the ship was going to sink. That made people think they didn't have to board the life boats. The people thought the crew was giong to take them out about one mile and bring them back in. I know not everyone could have ben saved but more people than what were saved could have lived for quite a long time.

Who's to Blame?
The wreck of the Titanic and the loss of many lives was Bruce Ismayfault. Why?He foeced the Captain to sail with with a fire burning in the hull(bottom)of the ship. The heat from the fire conversed with the icey cold water and lossened the rivets,so that when it hit the iceberg it had a gigantic (about a 300 foot) gash in the side causiung the water to fill up many water tight compartments. That is one reason why it sank.

smith didnt get many of the ice warnings sent, most didnt even reach the bridge, it was hard to see the iceburgs as for one the binoculars had been lost that the lookouts used, so Fleet didnt spot the iceburg in time, also there was no breaking at the water where the iceburgs sat making them harder to see.
the idea of the ship being unsinkable was dubbed by the press not the white star line or any of the crew,

I think the sinking of the Titanic was Captain Smiths fault because he didn't take messages seriously. He didn't pay attention to the messages that where sent in. If Captain Smith had payed more attention to the messages then they might of missed the iceburg instead of hitting it.I think that if Captain Smith didn't think that the Titanic was unsinkable, then maybe he would of payed more attention to the messages that where sent in.

even though titanic never had enough life boats to save everybody she had the minimum number required of lifeboats on board origionally there was to be 32, in the end just 20, and 2 of those didnt even get used...

[quote:b392bb566c="LupoLA7"]People aren't alive from the Titanic, because of Bruce Ismay. He didn't want to move back the date that was set to sail the Titanic with a fire on board! The fir eon the inside, and the coldness on the outside weakened the metal, and made the rivets looser. When the ship hit the ice, it made the rivets come out, and made the hull cave in,and make the gash in hte boat longer. That let even more water into the ship. What stupid person would do that?

the fire on board had nothing to do with the ship sinking. the fire was under control, and if sources are correct even put out before she sailed, some believe ismay was at fault, he did have power of certain aspects of the ship, but i dont think we can really blame anybody, well not entierly anyway.

Bruce Ismay is to blame for the wreck. He didn't make sure that all sixtyfour boats were on the ship to help the passengers survive in case of a wreck. All he did is care about the ship's publisity. He should have checked to see that nothing wasn't wrong with the ship and everything was in the right place before they even left the dock.
