If they went all the way up to the top, would it not stay afloat, because she could stay afloat, with 4 compartments full. Or did the damage cut into compartment 5 also?

was compartment 5 not already damaged, anyways, it did cut into 5 i think, the amount of water was massive and too much for the ship to hold.
