jessica, he did walk around the first class deck, and in the hallways to her room and just small stuff like that. that couldnt have happened in 1912 because people from different classes had different decks and werent allowed on other classes. it just wasnt possible. thats why most of the people in third class died, because the stuards didnt know that they were allowed to unlock the doors that kept the classes in their parts of the ship.

No murdock never shot himself, I have read the testamony form the Titanic sinking inquiery (if spelt right) and it isn't mentioned there, but many people who were not lucky to get into a boat, but were lucky to survive said that they Saw officer Murdock trying to save as many people as he could....but I may be wrong so lets just say that that is open to Interpretation...I hope I'm not making myself sound like the entire movie was a shambles, because it wasn't the effects and the sinking were very good, could have gon for a little longer I thought but anyway..but I did find the story between jack and Rose Boring and not very realistic, I would have prefered to have been able to see more than just one story, because the Titanic is full of stories, many people have written many things about their stories on the Titanic, there are so many we could be making Titanic movies for years.Quote:

ok, i agree with you. i wont argue. guess what i learned today? the cook stayed in the water for two hours before he got into a boat. he didnt feel the cold because he was drunk. do you think its true? i mean, even if you dont feel the cold, your body is still freezing right?

Here's a link on the Murdoch story I mentioned: http://www.geocities.com/murdochmystery/Contents.html
As for the "Jack and Rose" part of the movie, well I actually agree with you (Dan_the_Man) on that one. It is out of place and wish the movie could have been done with out it, in all honesty it does annoy me. If someone could do almost everything Jim did, minus the Jack and Rose, and add some true stories, that would be the best movie. So I agree with you there, but I still try to look at "Jack and Rose" as a representation of what so many couples had to go through that night. Jessica |

Yes I can appreciate that Slightly off topic, I wonder if a Movie will ever be made on The Lusitania or The Empress Of Ireland. |

I personally, would not like a movie made out of my tragedy. its better with the fictional characters.

But that has been done many times, Not just with the Titanic but with loads of films, such as Alive, Pride of the Yankees etc etc etc.
