Well the movie has to have to pretty good if it won 11 ACADEMY AWARDS including Best Picture! and kate winslet was nominated for Best Actress and everyone thought leo should have...just something for you guys to think about. and by the way why are you on this site if you don't like it?!

Its one of my favorite movies (the other one being Dead Poets Society! LOL!)..Seen it more times than I can remember! Sure the love story helped, who can argue on that? But keep in mind that those were actual facts...(not the Rose-Jack story, although they were a lot of couples on board) but the sinking...It made my skin crawl..it filled my heart with sorrow and honest to God I can't imagine any other film that can do that to a person..
Whether you liked the film or not, it is surely a movie that everyone has an opinion on..No one can watch this film and not have something to say about it. |

ok, i partially agree with this(don't attack me yet)...i have my reasons.
1) the love story(although sweet) is a bit worn out. 2) i never thought dicaprio was that hot/great/amazing. 3) i don't particularly care for the fiction that was created to "make" the movie. 4) the special effects were good, and the sets were good too. 5) when i first saw it, i was forced and didn't really want to. i kinda had to warm to it. so, i like it now, for certain reasons...and i don't like it for others..... |
