New Zealand is a small country in the south pasific near Australia.
Our population is 4 million.New Zealand is known for its beautiful scenery. I live in a large city called Auckland which has a population of 1.5 million people.It is a very civilized country. It has some of the best waters in the world.New Zealand will be having over 800,000 tourists in the next 3 months. It is a peaceful country with a mixture of cultures:European75% maori/pacific islander10% Asian:7% other8%.

Peter Jackson the director was born and lives in New Zealand. He is currently making a remake of the movie king kong which is also a New Zealand movie and is filmed in New Zealand. I know lord of the rings was made in New zeland, but does that mean it is a new zeland film, after all it was an American company that put up the money for it. Also if it is a new zeland film does that mean Braveheart is Irish? because most of it was filmed there, instead of scotland for some adverce reason. Oh well, who really cares
