As we all know Olympic shared many of the features of Titanic, including the ill foundered sense of invincibility. My question is, straight after Titanic sank, what did Olympic do? Did they continue with the less than required lifeboats all the way to Southampton? Did they go slower? Did the passengers on Olympic feel unsafe as to wonder the ship all night? Did the crew member's act strange, after all they probably knew people on Titanic.

I have not heard of them doing anything before they reached England, but I was just looking up the Olympic and as soon as she reached England they put in 24 collapsble lifeboats.Quote:

The crew of Olympic went on strike soon after the Olympic received the "engelhart collapsables". Many of the stokers and machinests felt the collapsibles to be inadequite and unsafe. Many of the crew were dismissed and replaced by non-union crew members. This also did not make White Star look good. Suddenly people began to look at safety in a diferent way.

Owner's of the biggest (passenger)ship afloat the QM2. Bitter rivals of white star line in the time of the Titanic. Infact, because of cunards two ships of 1907, white star descided to build the Olympic, Titanic and Britannic, so white star could claim supremacy.
