The age of the super liner was ended with the introduction of the jet, as jets improve like the new airbus a380 which is massive, they still dont come up to the floating palaces that the ocean liners are. We are now seeing a huge re-introduction of the liner, the QM2 has done tremendously well, so good as cunard to order a new liner just to satisfy the demand. Perhaps this would call for more companies to be firmed and we will get the sort of competiotion that was evident back earlier this century. I want to hear thoughts on this new surge, and do any of you think a company that builds ships that resembel past ones will do well, because that QM2 has no style, its a block of flats that floats.
