I am not sure of this fact, the only objects that i think would float up there is wooden furniture as you said.
From recent expiditions photos, its not sure if wood survives the microbes at 12000 feet. However, at sea level the oxygen would catch up with it before it ever has any change of remaining intact so they could have floaten up there but decayed xx years ago. One option for you to find out is to go thru notices about this titanic debris in news papers from coastal cities in eastern states and see the time line of about a week after the disaster or more up till a few months. |
