How many people actually lost there lives due to the greed of one man that faitfull night?
There are differences in the actual number of people who did not survive in the official books, articles & testiments of the time.
Does anyone know can anyone actually be sure this is the actual true figure?
What do you think

Thanks Bell

Had a look couldn't find it.

The figures I have are between 1501-1504.

There must be a list somewhere..........just have to go on and keep searching.

The accurate figures of those lost would not be known until April17th 1912
. Of the 2,224 passengers and crew aboard ,1,517 perished in the cold water.
Such a tragedy!

http://www.lva.lib.va.us/whoweare/exhibits/titanic/p2.htm

http://www.starway.org/Titanic/Passengers.html

You can find all the passengers listed on those sites, I suggest the second site is the beter one, but its six and half a dozen on what one you look at.

Happy to help,

Goodnight all,

I heard it was 1503 but I'm not exactly sure. I think it's 1503, though

My info came from a book called *The Last true Story of Titanic*
written by James Clary.

The next book I'd like to get is from a survivor named Lawrence Beesley .

He wrote a book called *The Loss of the SSTitanic I'ts stories and its lesson's

He wrote this book 2 months after the tragedy in 1912
