What do you want a gold medal or something, the film was shot in mexico and i have heard no credit being given to them, many countries like canada and others had a part init, they all deserve EQUAL credit.

No I don't want a gold medal! i'm just saying that people take Canada for granted. I do give creadit to Mexico and the United States. But this movie makes me proud to be Canadian! Its the best movie of all time and the highest grossing film of all time! And it was directed by a Canadian! Lots of people don't know that James Cameron is Canadian. And let me guess, your not a Canadian?!

Nope I am a scot, half my family in the late 19th centurey went to america and canada the rest went to scotland from ireland. I have lots of relatives in canada, though I must say, none of them take the film Titanic as a bit of pride for there nation. Am not entirely certain why, but am not going to argue with your pride in your nation, everyone is intitled to that.

I think If anywhere is to get credit its Ireland, esepecially in relation to the Movie...
I mean they showed southampton, newyork and a great shot of sherbourg... they should have included titanic leaving its final destination/dock in Queenstown Ireland.. Also, they should have just included the Original Opening to the movie which show the Titanic being built in belfast! The story of the Titanic is surrounded too much with the wealthy passengers etc etc, what about all those Irish 3rd Class Immigrants!? |
