The 3 dvd set dubbed the collector's edition ws nothing more of the passing of the hat a second time. The making of the movie have been broadcasted in most content. It would have been more exciting if all edited parts were restored as in Apocalypse Now to give the slight chang. I would have expected more.

Totally disagree with you here Captain Jack. I'm not sure what hype you'r referring to either. The 3 disc set includes commentary by the historians (the first one I watched), cameron, and many cast and crew, and James Horner. Includes deleted scenes, alternate ending, celine music video, a lot of art, photos, featurettes, a marketing section, the option to see "how they did that" that can be turned on during the movie and you just click an icon when it pops up. Sound noticably better, and I think they did clean some of the stuff up (I noticed it in the dive video big time). There are also 3 hidden clips that when you find, will make you laugh lol.
I wasn't in the least bit disappointed. Proud to own it in fact. Jessica |

it's just i accidentally bought the 2 disc version muahahaha |

That dvd is really good, 3 disc with lot of options to see...
