Well, when you consider titanic was drawn from olympics plan, then its not hard to see why.

Must have been some sight to be there during that short period in march when titanic and olympic sat side by side.

olympic was the best because it was the original and broader ahahahahahaha

My favourite is Olympic. That shouldn't come as any surprise to anyone! She carried around 435,000 passengers during her lifetime, plus around 201,000 troops and war personnel, and a very large number of crew. A very popular and beloved ship in her day.

Olympic wasn't broader than Titanic, though; it was Britannic that was eighteen inches broader. Olympic and Titanic had the same breadth (and the same length, contrary to popular belief).
