The curse of the Cunard line strikes again...anyone see this news item? It's of tragic interest....I wonder if this will delay the maiden voyage of this great ship this coming January.

No, this was the Queen Mary 2, which was supposed to start work in January - and as it was a gangplank accident, not anything to do with the actual ship, she is still on track for that date.

I think the QM2 is leaving from Southampton, UK on time for her maiden voyage on Jan 12th 2004.

On the occasion of the QM2's baptism, who actually baptised the Titanic? Can't remember having read it.
