His name was Edward John Smith. The passengers walked around the deck, went to the squash coart, went to the pool, went to the gym, gossiped.

there was also the turkish baths, men played cards the first class children used the starboard verandah cafe as a playroom, and 6 year old douglas spedden used to drop his teddy down the well part of the stairs (i know what i mean) and watch it fall and then run down to get it.
second class children were often seen playing a "horse racing" game.
and third class children would run around together exploring their part of the ship.

btw, the gymnasium wasn't like the gyms we have today. there were mechanical horses and rowing machines among other things, the were mainly made of wood and metal. the gym was reserved each day from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm for the children in first class, the gym instructor loved children so it was quite enjoyable for him to teach them how to use the different things.
oh yeah, another thing passengers looked forward to was meal times. :D
