http://uo.stratics.com/ <-- that is a MAJOR informative place for stuff that you deal with in game. I do there all the time incase I forget commands or reading about things I haven't done yet. I am currently working with my aquarmine I got today.

This game is indeed lower graphics than the games you see today but the game itself is VERY good VERY indepth play! I love the fact you can have your own house and able to customize it, own your own ship and sail whever you want, grow flowers, have pets running around the house, then of course you can go hunting, be apart of a guild and have many alliances going on and has thier own chat channel.

There is diffrent types of guilds out there you can join role-play ones, raid, fun, event ones etc...

Then there is quest you can do to get for items, money, or just to have fun!

I have played ALOT of MMORPG games and Ultima Online though low on the graphics has to be the BEST MMO out there in my opinion! The 2D graphics is probably why they can do SO much with the game and why so many people can play it. Not everyone has a high end computer to run some of these advance graphical games so you get alot of audieance. Course this game is the hardest of all MMO's because of the fact because it is so indepth when you play.

You already screen a screenshot my character, anyway remember that backpack you seen? Has a boat and tamborine or some kind of instrament? The one thing I do in game is provoke creatures and tell them to attack each other or peacemake them so they stand thier lulled no longer agressive "aka" no longer aggroed on me so I can escape. I am training to eventally beable to tame a dragon so when I go out and fight I have my friendly dragon to help fight in battles and help him out with my instraments.

I choose the name Carpathia because I love how beautiful it sounds when you pronounce it and sense this games theam is tooken place in a midevil fantasy world it sounded like and elder name plus it is a ship name so got to love that! I am female in real life and ships are usually reafeared to be female so I got a ton of choices of names I can go about naming my characters sense I like to stay in the ship theam.

The communtiy of UO is amazing! There is still going to be jerks but not nearly as many other games I have played that are MMO's. WoW has to be the WORST communtiy but the easiest game to play but I rather have friendly and helpful community than an easy game to play with a very rude and down right curel community with no respect for thier fellow players.

When I first started to play UO... I actually has someone come up to me and offer to show me around, they made me armour, and THEN they got me a house of my own! O_O That is some amazing generosity! UO showing me that there is still good people in the world really amazed me! That is what keeps me coming back and playing! You make friends there is is more than likely you will have them friends for life.

Another reason why I think to UO community is amazing is because no one can send tells to each other. They got to either talk out loud, speak in guild (if person is in same guild as you), or talk in group and be a private chat that way.

Plus if you die and you acted like a jerk people do NOT forget names there and your name will carry a really bad name to it and no one will want to aid you. Because when you die in this game you have to FIND someone to rez you! There are NPC (non-playble character) healers that run about randomly but they can be VERY far from your body. If you are nice to everyone even if they irk you they are more than likely going to help and aid you and ALOT of times they will ask if you need help to get your body back.

Getting your body back isn't such a HUGE deal nowdays in UO sense now you can insure MOST of your items back then when I FIRST started playing the creature kills you and THEN yoinks your body stealing everything on there and have to kill that one creature to get items back. They still can yoink your body but can NOT steal your insured items so when you come back to life you can equip them and have better chances at getting the rest of your stuff back if anything was gone. Blessed items are like insured items but better they will ALWAYS return. Insured items if you run out of money then that is when your items can be yoinked and even when you rez will not be there in your backpack so you either have to go find your body and even if you do some of the stuff can be missing because of creatures stealing it.

LOL I died ALOT yesterday by a daemon Slayer and he yoink my "looting box which had all my current money I was saving up" so haha I had to chase that daemon down and kill him before he killed me!

Your body only has so much time until it decays so you got to hurry back or it is gone forever. Like yesterday after that daemon killed me... I lost a VERY good bow that I found in a treasure chest because I did not return in time.

Yes the dieing in this game sounds very hard but truthfully it really isn't that bad as it sounds. I guess I just been playing this game for YEARS so LOL everything is normal to me. This is my native MMORPG game! the VERY first MMORPG I have ever played and I tried others but nothing compairs to Ultima Online!

I am actually PROUD to be apart of this games Legacy because I do not think it will be around forever but man is it standing strong but alot of people are being won over by other games graphics and it reducing the population. If UO loose so many they will have to shut down like Earth and Beyond has and I would hate to see such a AWESOME game go down like that. So we watch population ranks carefully.

The 10 year anniversary is coming up soonish I think I can not wait! I want to celebrate along with the rest of the community for to "me" the greatest game on Earth!

Also the older your account is the more rewards you get, unfortnatlly I do not have the original account I started out with because of all the moving I have done in my life and such but I got my new account and enjoying it quite ALOT! I might not get all the neat vet rewards but it doesn't matter because eventally my account will age and I will have benifits too! The rewards are given to the ones who have been apart of thier game for so many years and just want to thank them for all those who have been with them.

It is pretty cool ^_^ I was brought up by the UO community and I guess this is why I am the way I am today LOL because if I started with WoW I'd be ALOT diffrent. I learned the many faces of kindness before I had to take insults and such from other games

Thanks. I will visit that website again when I have the chance. I think I want the game. As long as it is fun I dont care about anything else. You know I dont play a game because of graphics or sound or anything else.

Well just know that UO has a monthly fee but this is to go for thier customer survice and to bring out new expansions and content. The people at EA / OSI work very hard to make this game the way it is now so and this makes me feel good to give them money to show my apperication on making such a wonderful game!

LOL I know! They are such cute comics! I would like to one day make an entire comic of the Titanic while playing UO just get a bunch of people to dress up new characters and name them after the people they are going to play would require ALOT of screenshots but it would be so cute haha! The only thing I am not sure how to show up is life boats... oh wait I guess I could get smaller boats than the one I got in game right now.

HAHA the boats in UO they look like toy boats in your inventory but when you double click them they grow to real life size and then you place them in the water and this spawns them the rest of the way so people can go aboard it.

It would be like Titanic in the World of Sosoria! haha getting sea serpents, wave elementals, deep sea tenticale beast attacking once in awhile and dieing from it LOL and whole boat of people going "ooOOoo!" Need a necromancer to translate =P

I think this is a good idea. Try to make a little movie out of your game. I tried to make all kinds of movies with my video games. It was fun.

Yeah it would be fun but it is getting everyone to do is the trouble and lol people probably wouldn't like the idea that the Titanic ship being a wooden haul =P hehe
