People say that after many years Titanic will be gone. It will disintigrate after being in the waTER FOR SO LONG. Most of it is destroyed and covered in algie from bow to stern. Could it really disintigrate? Could Titanic really be gone? Titanic-Fan

Sadly, It's true. There WILL come a day when Titanic will no longer exist.
 Believe it or not. The mighty Titanic is slowly being eaten away by microscopic bacteria. The "rusticles" that cover the wreck is the waste product from these bacteria oranisms. Last I heard, @ 30% of the bow section had already been consumed by the organisms. This is what makes the wreck so fragile. In some areas of the wreck, the hull is "paper thin", and all it'll take is a careless bump from a sub to cause a cave in. Titanic WILL disappear from the sea floor SOMEDAY, but thankfully she'll NEVER disappear from our minds. Thankfully, it won't vanish tomorrow, but it WILL happen soon. May she (and those lost) rest in peace. |

I think the important thing to do is try to keep wha we can on the ship that is durable stuff (stuff that will not decay as fast - bronze, brass, pocaline, ect. ) That way, when Titanic does fall apart and dissappear, she will still have a few pieces of her former glory that will probably last for thousands of years if remained untouched (Like the bronze wheel pedistal, propellers, and brass door knobs, plates, cups)

Im gona cry!
Titanic is the most beautiful man-made object ever, in my opion. Sadly it will b gone someday. hey it could evan b 2marrow! (i hope not) But We Will Still Remember That Fateful Night May all rest in peace |

I was too late, to stop the sinking.......but me and James made it back okay, and we went to Saint John and i came back to the present.....and he must have died a broken heart, cuz i didn't do my part.....

we can all agree that it was a traic incident. but you kno what it was a lack of mistakes from all that made tha ship sink. we will always rememmber that morunfull day as a day in history.
