[quote:19b4b8637e="Betty"]Does anyone know? Is Titanic still the top money maker in films or has Mel Gibon's movie "Passion of the Christ" taken over top spot?
Betty[/quote:19b4b8637e] I think Titanic is still the top mony maker. The last Lord of the Rings film is the second. That's what I heard anyway. Helen |

I found a website (I'm not sure how good it is http://www.the-movie-times.com/ ) said that The Passion of the Christ had $31.7 million as of March 12-14, 2003.
But I will keep looking for everyone. :) I just found this so I had to add it in on here http://www.us.imdb.com/Charts/usatopmovies.html It said that Titanic had $600,743,440 The 1977 Star Wars had $460,935,655 |

I want to go and see it maybe within the next week or so, but I know someone that went the first day it came out, she said she would go again because there were parts of it she might not have seen but she said it was bloody and some parts she had to put her head down. And it's not a popcorn type movie.

Titanic 4 ever,
Thanks for that site on the movies and which one makes more $$. Regarding Passion of the Christ, I do not think I will go see it---no reason, really--maybe too emotional? Betty |
