Mr W. Boothby, 36, was born in Norfolk.
When he signed-on to the Titanic, on 4 April 1912, he gave his address as 50 Troy Road, St. Denys. His last ship had been the Olympic. As a bedroom steward he received monthly wages of 3022433 15s. Boothby died in the sinking. His body was recovered by the Mackay-Bennett (#107). He was buried at sea on 24 April 1912. "NO. 107. - MALE. - ESTIMATED AGE, 42. - HAIR, FAIR. PROMINENT TEETH. CLOTHING - Uniform jacket and vest; White Star belt; pajamas. EFFECTS - Pouch; pipe; knife; keys; 2s. 3 1/2d. and 1 franc." - Mackay-Bennet list of dead "Boothby, W. 31 Winchester Road, Shirley, Southampton.
