Rear one so far I white did not go down the Olympic! And there I wanted times to ask here whether it know where the Olympic am now or which happened with it. make me happy on your answers.

The Olympic was scrapped in the 1930's.. Some of her interiors can be seen throughout places in England..

on October 11 1935, she was towed to Jarrow, on the river Tyne, for scrapping. It took almost two years to dismantle the Olympic completely, much of her metal being melted down and re-used in the navel construction programme of the late 1930's in preparation for another world war.
many of her fittings and fixtures were installed in the "White Swan" Hotel in Alnwick, Northumberland.

she was broken up in 1935 then by the 19th of September 1937
what remained of her hulk was towed to Inverkeithing for
final demoliition is would almost take two years .

I read somewherethat after the titanic sank it was dry dock and was scrapped out some time after that. but i can't be totally for sure . does that help any. :? 8)

As it says above, Olympic was scrapped in 1935-37. In the winter of 1912-13, she underwent a refitting that was extensive in terms of both the safety features that were enhanced, and the modifications to the ship's machinery.

I don't see how that refit, if that's what you refer to, had any influence on her scrapping.

Yep...refitted with a double hull and more lifeboats among smaller things. She also served as a troop ship during the First World War.

Wasn't that double hull required by the British Navy? I seem to recall all Cunard ships had them for just that reason.

Why would the Royal Navy require a double skin like that fitted to Olympic in 1912-13 and the redesigned Britannic? Unlike the Cunarders, they were not guaranteed to be available as auxiliary cruises during wartime, and were built simply as merchant vessels.

If a double hull/skin was required, then it would have been incorporated into the original design. After all, Olympic and Titanic as designed met all BOT standards.
