Oh darn, I was planning on buying it at that price! LOL
These are also WAY out of line on prices..I don't know what these people are thinking if they think they'll get that much.. TITANIC J Peterman movie props and memorabilia http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3811261853 This guy doesn't have THAT much (the china is JPeterman replicas) and the things he DOES have don't go for that much even when sold individually... And no feedback and pickup only??? He'd be better off selling the china individually, the Clock and Chair individually and the Rose dolls seperatly (although those can go for little of 50 bucks now) and the JPeterman Heart of the Ocean (could get anywhere from 200-500 on that alone).. I've noticed most people don't buy in lots..it's better to buy individually.. And THIS thing....oh geez, this person is insane asking this much! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=15769&item=3810986874&rd=1 And why would anyone need this?? I understand it's a model but aren't yuou asking a BIT much and why would anyone want one like this?? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=208&item=3908809220&rd=1 |

I think the other guy is going to [i:adf0a931c8]have [/i:adf0a931c8]to break up that lot to get anywhere near what he wants for it.

Bet that gold one is heavy though.. Imagine the shipping costs alone! LOL
Betty- Yes, I've got quite a few reproductions from the movie. The boarding suit being one of them (complete with the hat and I just bought the Boarding suit earrings -after searching for them everywhere) but I didn't pay anywhere NEAR the price that one lady is asking for hers..That's just outright crazy.... I know people who custom make it for less than that! |

You know Teamtuna, this makes me wonder like what would happen to one's collection if they passed on. My children have no interest in Titanic nor does anyone in my family/friends, so? What becomes of all the years of research, Ebay buying, bidding price wars<LOL> and looking for books, reproductions, etc.
I mean I love it all and would never, ever change a thing but sad to think where it all will end up |

Yes, even if you buy it, you then would need it resized.
