Which was the dummy funnel? was it the one at the back? And is it true that there was enough room for two trains to pass inside one of them?I know trains didnt pass this is just a saying to give an idea of there size

HI, is the last funnel back!!! but, i,m not sure a train can run in the funnel???

From all of my books that tells about it it was the last one or the one in the back and they also say that it was big enough for 1 train to go through.

LOL Collie you're too funny.

The Titanic and Olympic needed only 3 funnels but Lord Pirrie thought that a fourth funnel would make the ships look grander. The fourth funnel carried vents from the turbine engine room and from the huge coal stoves in the main kitchen.

Each of the 4 oval funnels averaged 63feet (19m) high, 19 feet (6 M) wide, and 24 1/2 feet (7m) long. Big enough to drive two trains through.

That funnel was also used as storage. Mostly of chairs and such. Not too many people know that little fact.

I'd heard that..I think it was also used for some of the cargo too and things such as spices?? Although I can't recall where I heard that.
