Almost every Belfast shot was tacken by harland and wolf'r resident photographer. Shot's from southampeton where as you said, by a news paper, and some keen photographer's.

But this was a newspaper company taking pictures and they could afford it

Exactly, but even those that could afford it, would still see no urgency because they thought a chance to photograph the ship would come again soon. I wonder, what where the presses plans in New York, because the ship was not given much publicity, in comparison to Olympic. Did they even care? And was there a plan for white star to photograph the two in new york, for a poster. If there was, am sure it would have been great, especially 18 months or so later, when Britannic, could also have been photgraphed. It would of been some picture

You might also consider that in 1912 owning a camera and even affording to shoot/develop film was a luxury afforded to those w/ better than average financial means.

Don't think so. There was no need to take a lot of pictures, they thought Titanic would be back in belfast, but ofcource it never wen't back, afterall they did not know it was going to sink.
