Actually they did 90% of all technology on the Titanic and Olympic excited 50 years prior but were in its infancy, Titanic just brought all this together in a larger way. Titanic was evolutionary not revolutionary, and state-of-the-art but not high tech, her proudest boast was her sheer size, that is all.

smith started sailing in the 1880's he had lots of experence and he was known as the millionare's captin. Alot of rich people sailed the Titanic just because he was the captin. The company made money off his name..much like big movie producers do today. Besides the Titanic sinking was not all his fault.

Think it was his record, Olympic was a accident, besides it was his last voyage, before retirement, so maybe it was a sort of present.

no they never recoved his body but he dose have a grave in Lichfield, Staffordshire can u call it a grave with out a body lol but johno i think yor thinking of bismark who is barred in berlin
