Well to be honest it would not have made any difference to me if they had cut the drawing or car scenes. However, the measure of self restraint exibited on "Jack's" face during the drawing scene served alot of comedic quality for me because I had been in a similar situation before. And somehow it seemed special to the audience that "Rose" would trust "Jack" to draw her and not take complete advantage of her just yet in the drawing scene. After all real love requires more trust than the physical act itself.

And yes I'm sure plenty of male viewers appreciated those scenes purely out of brut enthusiasm. But mostly for the fact that Kate Winslet looked absolutely adorable.

I think it was because, all the men at that point will be gettin bored watchin that love story, and there girlfriends will be lovin the film while they look at the floor. So they put that in to get there intrest back,

To show that heterosexuals still do it too, and that ain't politically incorrect in my book.

You won't be buying the special edition in October then?
Pitty, because it's going to be a great disc-set.

O well, I suppose there will be loads of critics sinking that masterpiece too. After all: The critics were wrong about the first prediction that the movie would not be a success. Funny how such a "bad" film was the first DVD ever to ship over a million units upon its release in 1999. Let's not mention box-office totals.

Don't worry Johno. There's nothing wrong with your taste in films. The problem lies with the rest of us and the rest of the world I suppose. This is clearly not a good film. People were payed and forced to watch it... Continue to believe that one.

no, just the way the film was played. The scenes with jack and rose bored me. The word false kept on cropping up in my mind.

The storyline wasted it for me.
