Of course it was, just not the area between the French Line and Cunard piers where the wreck lay.

She was in harbour, so the water was shallow, the fire department did't listen to the ships desinger or else she would of survived it, the ship fell on it's side and burned, she sat there for 3 years until they cleared her away.

QE2 is a very famous ship, bout the same as the QM2, fact if you have heard of the QE2, chances are you have heard of the QM2. I think it was the S.S normandie that fell on it's side in new york harbour.
