I believe she died, and the Titanic was heaven for her and Jack.

i think she died b/c at the end they show her on the titanic, coming through the door, walking up the steps, & meeting jack and everyone again in heaven, on the ship of dreams

ok, at the end of the film she died. Then she went to her heaven which was the titanic and she met Jack again.
Simple. She never let go. They loved each other. The titanic was were she found Jack, the love of her life. So she was so happy, so she went to the place where she was happy most...the Titanic with Jack. |

I have seen this movie many times. Yes she did die, but Jack kinda died with the Titanic. So it seemed like the Titanic was their heaven.

She die and went to heaven and met jack to stay with him all enternity.

Hokay i think that she was keepin her promise to jack and died peacefully in her sleep and old. and meetin up with jack was just like nosie rosie said she went to the happest time of her life with jack and she went to the man who she was keepin the promise for.
