i think you mean the maurtania and if you do then it simply did not happen, she was owned by a different comapny and was smaller than Titanic. The only ships in the world that could pull of such a switch would be olympic and britannic, britannic was not yet built so only olympic. And even the idea of that is failtally flawed.

There is a story that Titanic was the morentania. When the morentania had a collision with a iceberg it didnt suffer much damage but it was geting a old ship so White Star Line did up the morentania and turned it into the titanic. I dont believe this is true but for my own piece of mind could some one shed some light on if it is true or not
