true! but in their room, ruth was talking to rose and she was saying things about cal and his money and how she didn't want to be a seamstress!

i'm new to this conversation and so if i say anything that was already said plz forgive me!
rose didn't contact her mother cuz she was sick and tired of being controlled which is also y she hid from Cal at the end!and her mother only cared about money and her position. she didn't want to give any of that up. she only wanted Rose to marry Cal for the money and because he was considered first class material. |

put yourself in Rose's place,would you have contacted her mother??? She only cared about money and position.

I don't think she would of made contact with her mother, all the pictures she had with her didn't show any with her mother at all, i think she erased her mother and Cal from her memory and started her life off from scratch

nope i dont. her grand-daughter didnt even know she was on the ship until she called into the tv.
and anyway, the more i watch it, the more i think she should have just took jack for what he was a toy, (HA), and stayed with the rich one. rainy |

Wel at the start of the movie they talk of how rose was an actress, surely her mother would have seen a picture of her and seeked her out, im sure she would have noticed her daughters photos everywhere?
