I can't believe there are so many guesses but little research! I have included First Class Suits B57, B58, 2 of B59, B60 and B64 bedroom photos to display the wooden bed styles found on the Titanic. I believe that propt was never a actual wooden structure found on the Titanic. I have researched all First Class rooms by photographs and to date have not found anything near that. Maybe someone would care to produce a photo or drawing image?

I originally heard it was a door...but I think it might be a headboard from a first class bed.

I have researched all first class rooms and find that is not a actual design found on the Titanic! I looked at every doorway and window in first class dining, smoking, exercise, or any other room that had a head space higher than standard 7 foot. If that design was to be above a doorway or window then that highly limits the rooms it could be found in.

I have gone back through all my references. The panel is wood finished so that limits it to only a few places. There is not enough ceiling in most areas to support a relief "Above" the window even in First Class dining. The Grand Stairway does not support anything close to the relief. I'm not sure it is a true decorative panel over a window.

I'm not familiar with this design above any actual window from photographs I have seen. The relief appears to be a crest or a close represntion of. Has anyone?
