Question is post 2, I dunno why it does this but I remember when it was asked I replied, and I am sure I was second, so for some reason its blanked off 1 and moved it to 2, and so on.

in my home village of norton green-uk, we are researching the villages history which dates way back to saxon times. over the centuries industry varied in the village & among them around 1700s-1800s came 'copes iron foundry'. little is known about the foundry as there are no formal records to its existance apart from mention of the foundry helping to forge the great chain links that hold together the menai straights bridge, primitive methodist meetings with hugh bourne, workers cottages in the village & recently- mention of the foundry supplying materials toward the construction of the titanic...... can anyone help further?
