Hooray for obsession; My whole family knows I'm obsessed but I don't actually ramble on about it very much so most of my friends I don't think know unless they've been to my house and seen my Titanic Bookshelf.

Eva Hart sadly died February 14, 1996 of cancer. She was 91 years old, had just had her birthday on January 31.

I've got the book Shadow of the Titanic (I've not yet gotten to read it) and a Titanic Postcard autographed by Eva Hart.

Hey,
I'm new to the boards but I'm a complete Titanic obsessor, too! I have a whole shelf of books about the Titanic (and a few other ships). My friends and family like to tease me about it and ask me stupid questions like "how many cows were on the Titanic?" lol. I used to dream about the Titanic all the time; I had the recurring dream in which I was in steerage and it was sinking, but I managed to crawl through this cabinet and I was on the boat deck, and the lifeboats had no seats but just a big red carpet on the bottom to sit on. lol!

Hi Thunderking
I also am a Titanic fan and have been for about 5-7 years. I found most of my books on Ebay and a few I bought in bookstores.

Do you mean Eva Hart, a Titanic survivor, who wrote "Shadow of the Titanic"?
