The Titanic Historical Society museum is in Chicopee, Mass. It's small but "cherce".. I've not been to the one in Southampton.

I think that they should have one in the US and one overseas.

That's the idea. I've been down there, and you're right, it's dismal. A museum on the spot would be a [i:1310fe1bfa]big[/i:1310fe1bfa] improvement.

The only thing left at Chelsea Pier in NYC is the Famous Cunar/White Star Line arch at 14/15th Street near 11th Avenue. Sad site to see. Broken down fences, crumblig walls and rotting piers or what is left of them. I think this pier where Titanic was scheduled to arrive back in April 16th, 1012 should have a great museum. Not just a few pictures on a wall which is now a Sports and Entertainment Complex

This question comes out of another discussion on the board here: http://www.titanic.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=275 - if RMS Titanic does go under, and there is a museum established, where should it be?
