I think that's why ANTR is my favorite movie. It gives you more history than romance. And for a Californian incident freak like myself, that movie owns. lol

Nah man I haven't. I have seen the deleted scene from the Californian scene from the movie. That's been it. Do you have any links? Thanks

Mac G, have you seen the "Titanic special addition" with the outtacks of the wireless room and the extended Carpathia scene?
Pretty amazing, wish they were in there. Cameron said that he wanted them in the movie, but the film was so long that he had to make cuts, so, he put many of the "historical scenes" in the deleated scenes section for the Titanic buffs. |

Oh yeah. That's a great quote. They should have showed some more Carpathia in the new Titanic. It would have been sweat. They didn't show much of any wireless scenes though.

I thought of one more
Gibson: "That big steamer that was out there sir, the one that was firing rockets." Stone: "Yes, what about her?" Gibson: "Well she seems to have gone now." Stone: (looking at the speaking tube). Lord: "Yes?" Stone: "Sir that steamer that was firing rockets earlier has gone now." Lord: "Yes, and she didn't fire any more rockets?" Stone: "No" Lord: "Very well, what's the time?" Stone: (Looks at Watch) "2:45 sir." Lord: "Alright, well enter it in the log." Stone: "Yes sir." Great movie!!!! I may be off with a few words... |

Well the quote I have in my signature is clearly my favorite. One of my others is from Titanic(97). Smith goes to Lightoller
Smith: "Clear." Lightoller: "Yes, I don't think I've ever seen such a calm front." Smith: "Like a Millpond. Not a breath of wind." Lightoller: (Concerned) "It will make the bergs harder to see, with no breaking water at the bases." Smith: "Hmm. Well I'm off Mr. Lightoller, maintain the speed, I'm heading in." Another Ismay: "But this ship can't sink." Andrews: "She's made of iron sir, I assure you she can, and she will. Tis a mathematical certainty." Titanic(53') Smith to the fireman Smith: "We'll need to keep the lights burning as long as possible. You may not make it out." Fireman: "Yes sir, sometimes that's the way of it." Smith: "Well good luck." |
