It is no accident that this is happening the same time as the Geurnsey's auction as well. There was MAJOR PR work going on in the wings, trust me.

Thanks Teamtuna,
Seems like all the air waves are full of the upcoming event which is great. I know National Geographic channel gives a preview every now and then. Most likely the closer it gets to Monday there will be lots of media coverage. Thanks for all the info. |

Keep an eye on your TV this Friday and Monday for news about Titanic Live!, Ballards newest expedition: On Friday, ABC will be doing lots of coverage: Good Morning America; 20 /20; World News tonight and radio WABC and its affiliates are supposed to be carrying it too as well as NPR. Then of course there is the National Geographic Channel's special on June 7th. For some up to date coverage see: www.mysticaquarium.org then click on the Titnaic Live icon. If you click on the "partner sites" you'll be able to see where around the country you can view this event.

Teamtuna,
Thanks for all the information on the special scheduled for next Monday. I cannot wait to see it. I absolutely love Dr. Ballard and want to see what Titanic looks like now and when he first discovered it. |

A couple of pages about Ballard's return to the ship are at http://www.returntotitanic.com/ and http://tsunami2.nationalgeographic.com/channel/titanic/ for those interested. Some really nice interactive things too.
