No superbowl is right it was't for goldeneye but it was demolished for the next movie. Titanic (1997) suffered critisism because the set that they used (ship) was only 725 feet long and they where asked why it was't full size of the original 882 feet.

Everything was demolished am not sure if it was for the bond movie because that is MGM and United artists made that. Where as Titanic was made by 20th century Fox and Paramount but your right it was demolished for another movie. Only some props go around the world that was't destroyed during filming.

I've heard that they had to demolish the set because they had to make room for the new "James Bond" movie at that time (Goldeneye)

I think they are on display somewere in America, I've seen some of the set at a exhibition in London, UK a few years ago.

I guess the only thing they kept was the ship they built and now they use that for offices. I will see if I can find more on it.

Well if thats the case, then it is very pitty of them, seen that what rms titanic inc is earning by exhibiting the stuff and what fox pictures could have earned in addition to the movie.
They must have tought that the movie wasn't going to be too successful and just threw the scene away (at the time it was tought to not hit the box office/nor profit for fox) but cameron did make it happen.. still the scene is gone |

I think they threw it in the garbage after filming was over. At least that's what I read a long time ago. It was in a dump site somewhere, but I don't remember where anymore.
