I know that there are a ton of little tidbits about the Titanic that not many people know about. Things that happened on it, prior to it's sailing, after the sinking...etc...
I'd like for people to tell of their little tidbits that not many people would know about. I think it would be interesting too see them all in one thread.

Anyone have any stories?

JByard,
Here is one for you, though it is rather morbid.

The class barriers, typical of life on board the Titanic, was the same even in death. The bodies of first class passengers were unloaded in coffins, second and third class in canvas bags and the crew on open stretchers.

lol Jb, you must be so annoyed with me keep posting on your thread.

anyway, the story was that all ships had a cat that sailed with them to keep the rats down. Titanic had a cat called Jenny, she gave birth onboard but when the ship docked at Southampton, Jenny carried her kittens of the ship and waddled away. one of the dock workers witnessed this and mentioned that it was a bad omen if the ships cat left the ship. or something like that lol
