I was looking for something else about the [i:0a8d3d5721]Titanic[/i:0a8d3d5721] when I came across this little gem of an exhibit, and thought I'd share; http://www.postalmuseum.si.edu/titanic/

That was a great exhibition, I wonder how they get the picture since the ship had sunk, unless they took it before they leave.

There were a good number of photos of the ship taken during her short life - the majority of the interiors were done for White Star publicity, but many passemgers had cameras too. The most famous are the Father Browne photos, but there are collections from the O'Dells, who were with Father Browne and also got off at Queenstown, and a few taken by the cross-channel passengers who embarked in Southampton to go to Cherbourg.
