No this isn't an April Fool!
Northern Ireland artist Rita Duffy is planning to tow an iceberg to Belfast, the birthplace if Titanic, as some sort of bizarre "performance art", with it slowly melting on its final journey 15 miles up Belfast Lough to Belfast. The idea is being planned for 2008 to celebrate the redevelopment of Titanic Quater, the area where Titanic was built. Some of her project is secret, but she admits it could be done. What do you think? Good idea or just very bad taste. For more on the story, check th following link http://news.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2005/02/23/nberg23.xml |
