As I explained in my post to the 'TITANIC CANNOT BE RAISED' thread, it seemed to be rude of you to expect people to answer a question to which you already knew the answer. I thought you'd been deliberately rude, so I asked why you'd asked the question, and you responded by saying 'it's not of your business' and 'it's my thread n' respect that!' Those replies seemed argumentative, provocative, and rude (for instance, believing that it was exclusively 'your' thread and you had the right to boss other posters around). Your next replies like 'does it really matter?' and 'i don't care!!' just seemed to be sarcastic, which reinforced my impression that you were being rude. I think, all in all, things have been blown out of proportion (as Bell has just said). You explained (in this thread) why you asked what you did, but if you'd explained that to start with then I wouldn't have thought you were being rude. I say that (and I've put it in bold type) because it might help people on the forum avoid unncessary arguments. I think it would certainly help yourself enjoy the forum more, which would be a good thing IMHO. Since it seems you weren't intentionally rude, I can move on. Bell and me have both offered friendly advice which would help you, if you wanted to be helped. |
