I credit Dr. Robert Ballard for sparking my interest in the RMS Titanic. When I was 6 years old I read a childrens book he wrote called "Finding the Titanic". I was so fascinated by this book that I read it over and over and drew pictures of the great liner. Over the years this fascination just grew and grew and continues to grow even today. It has also led me to learn about many other ships and shipping lines of the early 20th century, which I also study. I hope to persue a career in underwater exploration in the near future.
