You know, I have read that alcohol actualy give you a false sense of warmth, and that also it actually makes you loose body heat faster (don't ask me for details though).
I did have a good discussion with a friend on another forum, who believes that the reason that Jourghin survived was that he had a few pounds on everyone else (a little chunky), and therefore, that was the reason he was able to survive so long. Meaning he was well insulated. My friend also said "never trust a skinny baker". Something maybe to think about? |
