I recall seeing something like that a long time ago. And I have read about the Barrett in No. 5. Mr. Shepard fell into a manhole because there was much steam in the room and didn't see the manhole. They dragged him into the pump room. Later, "a wave of water rushed from the bow" and Mr. Harvey told Barrett to make a run for it. He last saw Harvey running toward the pump room....I imagine they concluded the bulkhead collapsed. I would conclude weakened, however, I'm keeping in mind the wave could have come from beneath the floor panels they were stepping on and opening to reach the valves for the pumps.
