That's one thing I HATE about the new movie. These fictitous things will forever be associated with the real story.

When you ask many people what they think about when they think of Titanic, many will say "Leonardo De Crapio" and "My Heart Will Go On".

Furthermore, did we not just have a topic on rating how true and false historically the ship is?

Peoples' lack of knowledge is not really hard to believe when you think about it.


See, most of us here got a chance to learn about the Titanic from Dr. Ballard's discovery of the wreck. I don't see people who ask about Leonardo De Caprio, Kate Winslet, etc. being on Titanic as "retarded". No. These poor people just aren't as fortunate as us. We already knew Titanic before the movie came out. I think it's up to us to help these folks "fill in the gaps", like a Titanic University.
