I believe that 1,503 - 1,517 souls were lost aboard the Titanic in the early morning of April 15th, 1912.
706 people survived. |

I always feel very sad for the stowaways on board Titanic. They must have felt like the luckiest people in the world: having successfully snuck on board the greatest ship in the world. Just think at the anguish they must have felt during the sinking...
