Titanic Memorial, Belfast City Hall
Description: | This is Belfast's memorial to those who died on Titanic. On the sides are listed the names of those from Ireland who lost their lives. The names are listed in order of importance, the old Victorian way. Since Titanic, all memorials list names in alphabetical order.
The inscription on the base reads as follows;
"Titanic Memorial" Erected to the imperishable memory of those gallant Belfast men whose names are here inscribed and who lost their lives in the 15th April 1912, by the foundering of the Belfast built R.M.S.Titanic through collision with an iceberg on her maiden voyage from Southampton to New York. | Submitter :strider_uk - More Photos from strider_uk Last Update: 2005/4/2 22:51 Hits: 55143 Comments: 0
